Mario Weck is one of the four founders of PSLab Lighting, which has its roots in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2009, he brought the brand to Europe, where he opened the first
international studio in Stuttgart.
Today, there are additional studios in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, London, and Paris. Production remains in Beirut, and with a total of 250 employees, the company has grown very organically.
PSLab plans, designs, and produces lighting tailored to specific projects. This means there is no catalog and no products in stock. The company engages with architects and clients in a process of listening, understanding, and designing before luminaires are produced — including its own LED lighting technology, which it manufactures in-house in Salzburg.
