Accessibility Statement

FORM ⁄ FUTURE aims to make this website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549. The benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the standards mentioned above. We are continuously improving accessibility; individual content does not yet fully meet the requirements (see “Known Limitations”).

Measures Already Implemented

  • Sufficient color contrast for text, links and controls (WCAG 1.4.3).
  • Meaningful alternative text for content-relevant images, e.g. partner logos (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Clearly named links that can be reached by keyboard, plus a visible focus indicator (WCAG 2.4.4, 2.4.7).
  • A meaningful heading structure and page regions (landmarks) for orientation (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • The program schedule is prepared for screen readers: each event is announced with title, stage and time; purely decorative grid areas are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Text can be enlarged without loss of functionality or content (zooming is not disabled).

Known Limitations

  • Some documents provided as PDFs may not be fully tagged for accessibility.
  • Embedded third-party content (e.g. maps or social media feeds) may have limitations that we can influence only to a limited extent.
  • The program schedule is designed as a visual grid; accessible use is provided through the descriptions stored for each event.
  • A complete test with all common assistive technologies is still pending.
