Venue

FORM / FUTURE 2026 goes to Tempelhof Airport. Once again a place in transition, yet quite different from the Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC), where FORM / FUTURE celebrated its premiere last year.

The former Tempelhof Airport: one of the largest architectural monuments in Europe (some say the largest). Actively used and located in the heart of the city, it is a place for exchange, events, and experience. But also for controversy, polarization, and reflection. It stands as a symbol for the transformation of a city, and with it, an entire society: its interests and behaviors, its infrastructure and climatic changes, its culture and its values.

Through its ambivalence and its unfinished character, Tempelhof fits perfectly with this year’s motto, “Process & Principles.”

For one day in September, we transform the former Tempelhof Airport into a think tank, an experience space, and a place for dialogue and exchange. A platform for design in the heart of Berlin.

The best way to get to the venue:

By public transit: The nearest subway station is U Platz der Luftbrücke (U6), approximately a 5-minute walk from the entrance. Bus lines 248 and M43 also stop directly at the building.

By car: Parking is available on Tempelhofer Damm. On busy days, nearby parking can be limited.

We recommend arriving by public transit.

The main hall is fully accessible.
