Saskia Wheeler is a strategist and neuroaesthetics researcher exploring the relationship between neuroscience, psychology, design and human experience. Her work examines how the spaces, objects and experiences around us influence perception, emotion and wellbeing, and how design can shape the way we experience the world around us. Working with creative agencies, cultural institutions and design-led organisations across London and Berlin, Saskia brings research from neuroscience and psychology into creative practice, spanning design research, creative strategy and cultural programming. Her work focuses on the psychological and sensory dimensions of design, and the role they play in shaping our relationship with the built environment. With Master’s degrees in Psychology of the Arts, Neuroaesthetics and Creativity from Goldsmiths, University of London, and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin, Saskia brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by her background in philosophy, design and psychology. Having spoken at Imperial College London, Berlin Science Week and Fotografiska, she regularly speaks and writes on neuroaesthetics and the impact of design on human and societal wellbeing.
