FORM / FUTURE 2026
Lars Boettger is studying for a Master’s degree in Design and Product Management at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. In his Master’s thesis, he is using approaches from transformation and systems design to explore how design can foster optimistic visions of the future and positive social narratives in times of crisis — with the aim of developing a practical, participatory solution at the interface between design and politics.
In his Bachelor’s thesis in Industrial Design, he worked with his project partner Jessica Glanz to explore how young adults can be made aware of the importance of insects and the need to protect them in a playful and effective way. Alongside his studies, he works at the university and volunteers with the NGO Cradle to Cradle to promote a waste-free circular economy.
