Keynote Speaker
Claudia S. Friedrich is Partner and Managing Director for Interface Design at zweigrad Industrial Design in Hamburg. For more than 25 years, she has worked at the intersection of technology, product strategy and user experiences. She develops UX strategies, visual brand languages and design systems for complex product ecosystems.
Her work focuses on the design of professional devices, systems and services in technology-driven industries, including medical and laboratory technology, industrial machinery and the mobility sector, particularly rail and aviation.
She understands design as a strategic connection between people and brands, between society and business — with the aim of making complex systems understandable, usable and desirable. Her focus is on creating orientation through design, translating innovation into viable product experiences and creating value for companies and users.
Beyond her responsibility at zweigrad, she is committed to the design community as an Advisory Board Member of the Hamburg Design Centre, DDC Director Hamburg, lecturer for UX Design at Pforzheim University’s School of Design and jury member for international design awards.
As a keynote speaker at conferences and for companies, she speaks about the strategic and entrepreneurial value of design, the economic and societal impact of accessible and intersectional design, and how design translates complex technologies into understandable and usable product experiences.
