Thomas Rütting is Authorized Officer (Prokurist) and Head of Politics and Communications at Stromnetz Berlin. With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, he has held senior leadership roles in engineering, sales, and grid operations. His career includes positions at VA TECH ELIN, BEWAG, and Vattenfall, spanning national and international responsibilities. Since 2014, he has focused on metering and grid business, including Managing Director of Vattenfall Europe Metering. Today, he is responsible for strategic stakeholder engagement and communication in Berlin’s critical energy infrastructure.
