FORM / FUTURE 2026
Felipe Sánchez Luna is a sound artist, sound designer and creative technologist, and co-founder, Creative and Managing Director of KLING KLANG KLONG, a Berlin-based sound experience design studio. His work explores how sound shapes perception, emotion and the way people move through and inhabit space. For more than a decade, Felipe has led interdisciplinary projects for museums, World Expos, cultural institutions, brand spaces and large-scale installations. Working at the intersection of composition, spatial audio, interaction, science and technology, he transforms complex narratives and data into immersive sonic experiences. His approach begins with deep listening: understanding the architecture, visitor journey and emotional intention of a place before composing its sound. In 2024, Felipe presented *A Sonic Journey Through the Universe* at TED’s 40th anniversary conference in Vancouver. Experienced with eyes closed, the surround-sound performance used recordings, music and scientific data to reveal worlds beyond direct human perception. Through his work, Felipe advocates for sound as an essential element of spatial design, capable of connecting environments, guiding attention and making places more coherent, memorable and emotionally resonant.
