Master Class
Barbara Glasner holds a master’s degree in interior architecture and works as a lecturer, consultant and curator for design and architecture, and as creative director for Verlag form in Frankfurt/Main. From 2001 ongoing, in collaboration with the German Design Council, she curated and supervised the young talents exhibitions, the interior trend shows, and the various editions of the design project „ideal house cologne“, where renowned designers such as Zaha Hadid, Hella Jongerius, Patricia Urquiola, Fernando and Humberto Campana, Konstantin Grcic, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Naoto Fukasawa, Stefan Diez, and Dieter Rams presented their visions of future living at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne. She is co-publisher of several books in the fields of design, architecture, and art, such as „Chroma“, „Wonder Wood“ or „Most Touched – 1000 door handles“ as well as corporate publications. In 2011 she co-founded the publishing house form in order to continue the traditional form Design Magazine series. Since the beginning of 2023 she has been teaching at several Universities on the topic of „colour“ and has hold workshops. She is involved in various boards, juries, and associations.
