Victoria Ringleb

General Manager, Alliance of German Designers (AGD)

Panel speaker

Victoria Ringleb has been managing director of the Alliance of German Designers (AGD) since 2010. She studied communication sciences and intercultural business communication in Jena, Cambridge and Brisbane. Network management has always been her passion: ‘Collaboration significantly expands the creative and entrepreneurial scope of all those involved. For freelance designers, this offers enormous potential.’ To this end, she creates protected spaces for exchange and experimentation within the AGD. Consequently, she is convinced that the maxim ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’ also applies to the interaction of member organisations in institutions such as Deutscher Designtag (German Design Day) or Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Selbstständigenverbände (Federal Working Group of Self-Employed Associations (BAGSV)) when it comes to the big questions of society, politics, participation and responsibility. Victoria Ringleb is married, has a daughter and lives and works in Berlin and Braunschweig. In her free time, she creates endless variations of green oases in the allotment garden association.
