Sonja Pham, born in 1987 in Allgäu, is a freelance journalist, writer, and translator specialising in creativity, culture, and culinary topics. She studied communication design at Designschule München and has since been freelancing for various magazines and agencies. She was deputy editor-in-chief at novum World of Graphic Design before co-founding Grafikmagazin and the publishing house Phoenix Verlag für Grafikdesign after novum ceased publication. Since 2023, she has served as a board member for editorial at the Art Directors Club for Germany. She is also active as a moderator, speaker, and host in the fields of design and culinary culture.
